SECTION OVERVIEW

1. INTRODUCTION

  • Member Association Role: Expresses intent to co-organize the event alongside FIFA in the Host Country.

  • Bidding Process: Framework for selecting host cities based on proposals submitted by Member Associations which outline staging capacities (e.g., stadiums).

2. EFFECTIVENESS AND FULFILMENT OF HOST CITY AGREEMENT

  • Acceptance: Agreement takes effect upon FIFA and Member Association's acceptance of the Host City Authority's offer to host.

  • Obligations Fulfilment: Describes conditions under which FIFA or the Member Association may demand performance by the Host City Authority.
