Attitudes: long-lasting evaluations we hold about ourselves, other people, objects, and issues.
Purpose: helps to guide people’s thoughts, judgements and behavior
Explicit Attitudes: conscious attitudes (disliking math)
Implicit Attitudes: unconscious attitudes (fear of spiders)
Tripartite Model of Attitude Includes: Affective, Cognitive, Behavioral (all must be present to count as an attitude)
