Audio:  The transmission, reception, or reproduction of sound.


Beat:  The pulse of the music.


Rhythm:  The controlled movement of music in time. (You can clap a rhythm).


Melody:  An intentionally organized succession of musical tones;  also known as the main tune of a song.


Vocal Range:  How high or low someone speaks or sings.  


Harmony:  the notes or chords played along with the melody. 


Tempo:  The pace at which music moves. (BPM - Beats Per Minute) 


Compose:  To create a musical work.


Arrange: Adapting a composition or parts of a composition to instruments or vocals different from its original design.


Remix:  To mix and re-record the elements of a musical recording differently.
