What is in This Part of the Exam?
- You’ll need to answer 35 questions based on printed material
- The time limit is 55 minutes, including the time spent on listening to recordings and reading print materials:
- You will get 1 min to skim the questions
- Take notes while listening to the audio
- Afterwards, you will have a minute to skim the questions again
- After a minute, the audio will be played again
- This exam tests your understanding of French on a speaking level

Tips and Examples

- ^^Make notes while listening!^^ Anxiety can make you very forgetful- be sure to write down any important information
- ^^Carefully inspect the print material!^^ The print material is there to help you- so use it!
- ^^Write down any unclear sentences/concepts!^^ Was anything in the exam mumbled or unintelligible? Write it down so that you can pay close attention to it in the second recording
