What is in This Part of the Exam?

  • You’ll need to answer 35 questions based on printed material
  • The time limit is 55 minutes, including the time spent on listening to recordings and reading print materials:
    • You will get 1 min to skim the questions
    • Take notes while listening to the audio
    • Afterwards, you will have a minute to skim the questions again
    • After a minute, the audio will be played again
  • This exam tests your understanding of French on a speaking level

Tips and Examples

  • ^^Make notes while listening!^^ Anxiety can make you very forgetful- be sure to write down any important information

  • ^^Write down any unclear sentences/concepts!^^ Was anything in the exam mumbled or unintelligible? Write it down so that you can pay close attention to it in the second recording
