  • Choose a Yoruba song or a short video with subtitles.

  • Write down 5 key words you hear.

  • Shadow 2–3 sentences for pronunciation.

🗣 Wednesday – Speaking Focus

  • Practice self-introduction and basic conversation aloud.

  • Record yourself saying a few phrases (e.g. “Orúkọ mi ni…”, “Mo wà dáadáa”).

  • Try asking and answering common questions.

📖 Thursday – Reading & Writing

  • Read a short Yoruba dialogue, story, or Bible verse.

  • Underline new words.

  • Write a few sentences in Yoruba describing your day.

🎯 Friday – Practice & Reflect

  • Review the words and phrases you learned this week.

  • Test yourself: can you describe your room or family?

  • Speak with a friend or tutor for 5–10 minutes if possible.

🎮 Saturday – Cultural Immersion

  • Watch Yoruba films, Nollywood clips, or listen to Fuji/Apala/Afrobeat.

  • Try to translate or summarize what you understood.

  • Learn 2–3 slang expressions or idioms.

😌 Sunday – Rest + Light Practice

  • Listen to Yoruba casually while relaxing (e.g. music, proverbs).

  • Mentally review words from the week.

  • Optional: practice prayer or affirmations in Yoruba.
