Verbs for Wearing 

1. 着ます（きます） – Used for clothing on the upper body, such as shirts, jackets, and dresses.

   • Example: シャツを着ます (I wear a shirt.)

2. はきます – Used for bottoms and footwear, including pants, skirts, shoes, and socks.

   • Example: 靴をはきます (I wear shoes.)

3. かぶります – Used for items worn on the head, like hats and helmets.

   • Example: 帽子をかぶります (I wear a hat.)

4. つけます – Used for small accessories(bling bling ✨💎🌟), such as earrings, necklaces, and brooches.

   • Example: ピアスをつけます (I wear earrings.)

5. します – Used for general accessories like ties, scarves, watches, and belts.

   • Example: ネクタイをします (I wear a tie.)

6. かけます – Used for items worn on the face, like glasses and sunglasses.

7. もちます – Used for items being carried or things that someone has, like a purse, bag, knife, flag, etc

Example: メガネをかけます (I wear glasses.)

Plain Form

Group i (consonant ends with i): Replace the i with an u (e.g. kaki → kaki)

Group ii (anything else): add る

Irregular:

• Go: 行きます - 行く

• Coming(?): 来ます (kumasu?) - くる

• Do:します - する

Study- べんきょうします - べんきょうする

write: 書きます - 書く

sleep：ねます - ねる。

drink - のみます -  のむ

Because Sentences

• から、 - Because (according to the speaker’s opinion)

  • e.g. Because I go to Japan, I buy a dictionary.

    • 日本にいきます。から、じしょをかいます。＝日本にいくから、じしょをかいます。

• ので、 - Because (inherently or because of existing reason)

  • e.g. Because the exam is tomorrow, I study.

    • 明日、テストがあります。ので、べんきょうします。＝明日、テストがあるので、　べんきょうします。
