Roles and Responsibilities During Emergency
1. Follow emergency procedures outlined in parks recreation emergency response binder
2. Maintain control of accident scene ie guiding patrons witnesses away into changeroom areas, clear entrance for ems
3. Coordinate staff action hand out detailed statement forms once victim is transferred to EMS
4. Ensure all parts of major emerg report are completed before opening facility again
5. If spinal board is taken, arrange for new board to be taken out on deck and organize retrieval of original
6. Contact supervisor and or on call supervisor immediately
7. Inform family of incident and where they are located specifically
8. Recovery and follow up
9. Prepare pool to open as early as possible
10. Treat your staff for shock as well as stress levels
11. Collect all documentation and ensure it is completed within 24 hours

- We do 16.1 once every 30 days and the reason is to do inspection of pool fittings and outlet covers.
