Brand Positioning

How a business shows how it is different from its competitors and where, or how, it sits in customers' minds

Brand awareness

the extent to which consumers are familiar with the distinctive qualities or image of a particular brand of goods or services.

Inbound marketing

customer-centric approach that focuses on drawing high-fit customers in to a site or page as opposed to blasting a message to the general public

Business to business marketing (B2B)

any marketing strategy or content that is geared directly towards a business or organization

Business to consumer marketing (B2C)

Marketing that targets individual consumers as customers

Search Engine Optimization (SEO)

set of practices designed to improve the visibility and positioning of web pages in organic search engine results

Content Management System (CMS)

software that allows marketers to create, design, host, edit, manage and track the performance of all of their website content.

Sales Funnel

the visual representation of the customer journey, depicting the sales process from awareness to action

special symbol, design, word etc used to represent a product, brand or company

Approach to marketing focused on creating and distributing high-quality, valuable content to attract, engage, and convert a specific audience

Outbound Marketing

A form of marketing focused on pushing a message out to an intended audience by attending conferences, cold calling, and/or paying for TV ads

A person who has a breadth of experience and knowledge in a particular area, industry, or topic
