 This is the outline of your body or a garment, which you can see from a distance,

even before you notice the detail of the style

4. Classic styles:

 Are styles that are continually accepted because they are timeless and tasteful

5. Fads:

 Is a fashion with very short lifecycle

 Is any style that catches on among a large group of people, it comes and goes very

quickly

 Items that suddenly become popular but disappear again just as quickly

6. Fashion/standard trends:

 the directions in which the fashion moves

 trends start, grow, evolve and decline gradually

7. Retrospective fashion:

 Refers to clothes that imitate the style of the previous era

 Fashion often looks to the past for inspiration

8. Contemporary fashion:

 Is the style that many people accept and wear, manufactured in larger quantity

and sold at low price

9. Haute couture/high fashion:

 These are new, unique and exclusive styles that are created by fashion designer
