When creating stairs, it’s important to first model them in a way that's not directly in their final position.
This allows for adjustments to ensure they go in the correct direction.
The process involves:
Modeling stairs slightly away from the intended location.
Adjusting the stairs to their final place afterward, especially if there's a possibility of direction errors.
Reminder: The assignment sheets must focus on your renovation and NOT the existing conditions.
Important note for submissions:
Ensure to visually separate your renovations from existing conditions in the project sheets.
An additional reminder: hide your room separations when displaying the renovations.
You do not need to submit a separate sheet for existing conditions.
Simply submit your Revit file for existing conditions.
Clarification on file submission:
Submit the existing conditions as a separate project file (i.e., Porch roof, etc.).
Ensure clarity in naming projects to differentiate them easily.
