Antigen (RBC)

Antibody (Plasma)

Group A

If a persons RBC’s have only the A antigen, they will have Type A blood

Antibody B

Group B

If they have only the B antigen, they will have type B blood

Antibody A

Group AB

If they have both A and B antigens, they will have type AB blood

Group O

If they have neither A or B antigens, they will have O type blood

Antibody AB

Rh+

D antigen

Rh-

No antigen
