Area of a regular polygon

  • What is a regular polygon?

    A polygon where all sides are equal in length and all angles are equal in length.

  • You can use equilateral triangles 🔺️ to find the area of a regular polygon.

  • Area of a regular polygon with side length “s” is half the product of the apothem “a” and the perimeter “P”.
