• Oxidize acetyl-CoA into CO2 (now glucose is COMPLETELY oxidized)
• Each acetyl-CoA synthesizes 1 ATP, 3 NADH, 1 FADH2 (Flavin adenine dinucleotide)
• Coenzyme A receives another acetyl for another spin!

acetyl-CoA + 3 NAD+ + FAD + ADP + Pi →2 CO2 + 3 NADH + 3 H+ + FADH2 + ATP + CoA
