Kabbalah Notes

Kabbalah: Introduction and Key Concepts

Introduction

  • Welcome to the Kabbalah Center; tonight's session will be less than an hour.

  • Kabbalah offers universal wisdom for a new way of life and connection to true fulfillment.

Workshop Warm-up

  • Find someone you don't know and share:

    • Your name.

    • What you do.

    • The most powerful lesson you've learned painfully in relationships.

  • The purpose: You are there to give a message to someone who needs to hear it.

  • Everything is connected; there's no randomness; there’s a system to life for reaching fulfillment.

What is Kabbalah?

  • Kabbalah is an ancient, universal wisdom explaining the DNA and mapping of the soul.

  • It explains our purpose in this world and why we experience what we do.

  • Everything we desire (relationships, love, success, prosperity, purpose) is already created and belongs to us.

  • These gifts exist and are waiting for us to spiritually earn them.

  • Someone could be married to your soulmate because they are on hold until you are ready.

Spiritual vs. Physical Earning

  • Society teaches us how to physically earn: get a job, make money, be courageous, work hard.

  • We know how to create material success, but there's also a spiritual realm with real spiritual laws.

  • These spiritual laws apply to everyone, regardless of background, like gravity.

  • Over the next ten weeks, the spiritual laws of the soul will be discovered.

  • Every soul will eventually receive what is meant for them, possibly over multiple lifetimes.

  • Without awareness, lessons are learned painfully through life's challenges.

  • Statistics show men reach full maturity at 42, women in their early thirties for relationship readiness, for spiritual reasons.

The Light of the Creator

  • Proactively learn spiritual laws to tap into the Light of the Creator.

  • The Light of the Creator is the source of all energy and blessings.

  • Think of a higher power that created our creation.

  • The Creator is an endless source of sharing goodness which is called the Light.

  • This is not physical light, but energy that makes atoms exist, creates souls with intelligence, and provides free will and creativity.

  • Ideas can come in dreams and lead to billion-dollar companies, emanating from this source.

  • There is a bank of endless Light.

Vessels for the Light

  • Humanity are the vessels meant to receive all this Light.

  • The point of life is to receive the Light, the other nice things are a bonus.

  • The Kabbalists explain the light of the creator as the white light that refracts through a prism and create a rainbow.

  • All the colors of the rainbow exist within the white light.

  • The colors represent love, clarity, security (financial, emotional), freedom from fear, anxiety, and worry, health, relationships, and true prosperity.

  • Instead of chasing colors, learn the rules to connect with the Light.

  • Plugging into the Light makes other concerns unnecessary.

Attracting the Right Connections

  • If the priority is spiritual work, the Light will arrange for soulmates to meet.

  • Meeting the right person is not about effort or swiping, but the amount of Light revealed.

  • If the soul is only plugged into 5% of the Light, you attract a 5% type of person.

  • Physical appearance has nothing to do with who you attract; the physical world is an illusion.

  • Our souls chose to come to this world without Light, into darkness and chaos, to earn that Light.

  • Souls want to be born into challenging circumstances to test them in order to be able to earn that light.

  • Every relationship is chosen for us to be tested, to connect with the Light.

Complicated Relationships and Their Purpose

  • Consider a complicated relationship, one that is frustrating or challenging.

  • These relationships reveal how we feel and what they bring out in us that we don't like.

  • There is something more powerful than approval or career success: connecting to the Light.

  • When we plug into the Light, amazing things/miracles happen.

  • Instead of panicking, when there is darkness, connect to the Light.

Reactive Behavior

  • To access the Light, we must become like the Light.

  • Reactive behavior: any thought or action from lack or fear to connect to instant gratification.

  • This happens when there is a feeling of lack, vulnerability, or impatience.

  • The Creator is not a reactive force.

  • Every time we are reactive, we create distance from the Light.

  • Being reactive delays receiving what is meant for you.

  • Challenges are designed to awaken fear and lack so we can transform it.

  • Free will exists in the moment of feeling afraid, transforming it.

  • The soul comes with things it needs to correct: fear, anger, jealousy, insecurity, being controlling or stubborn.

  • Challenges come to awaken these issues so we can transform them.

The Tool: Pause and "What a Pleasure"

  • When feeling fear or lack: PAUSE.

  • Pause. What a pleasure.

  • The challenges awaken negativity; pause to transform it.

  • It doesn't mean being a pushover, but considering what is really right.

  • Pause the need to take instant gratification to fill the dark hole.

  • That dark hole is meant to be corrected.

  • What would that person normally do in that situation? Curse, get angry, be passive aggressive, have a bad mood, take it out on current family, be judgemental, worry all night.

  • Having anxiety or taking drugs are ways for us to soothe ourselves, but it doesn't help in the long run.

  • People with money have a harder time transforming because they seek temporary fixes.

  • The creator sent you that for a reason.

  • Everything is designed; it's not random or personal.

  • When there is a call from an ex-wife asking for something, the creator told her to call.

  • The Creator wants to give you everything in this life; accepting it means acting like the light.

Removing Darkness

  • The way to remove darkness is by turning on the light, not just praying to it.

  • The only time you can turn on the light is when you feel that moment of pain.

  • If you have an amazing day, that's great, but it doesn't mean that you revealed new Light.

  • New Light can only be revealed when you're about to give up, see no future, which is the moment of correction for the soul.

  • Pause. What a pleasure. Boom. You plug into the light. What happens after that? Who cares! It's not your business, and it's not my business to tell you what's going to happen after that.

  • Each pause inches you closer to fulfillment.

  • If you just use charm to get energy, it's temporary.

  • People often know they will get divorced before they get married.

  • When finally somebody seems to care about me, who cares about all the other stuff? Pause.

  • The goal of learning Kabbalah is to get to that place, I don't need anything. Once you don't need anything, then you're tapped into the light, then you can share.

  • Even overly excited is also not like the light. Pause. Act like the light.

  • The way to remove the darkness that’s in our lives is to wait for it to come up, act like the light.

  • The moment of fear or lack is the five second window that's the most powerful.

  • Faking it is still an effort towards being like the light, the pursuit towards the light of the creator is what reveals the light.

  • In that moment, you are actually the most spiritual person in the world. There's no levels of spirituality.

  • In that moment, when the light is on, there's no darkness.

  • Any area of our life right now that is not going exactly the way we want, there's always one, and there needs to be one because it pushes us to grow. There's always gonna be one area, by the way, that's not working. Always.

  • We will be tested today, tomorrow. Something will upset us, something will bring back our fear and our anxiety, and we need to remember the first tool: Pause. What a pleasure.

Examples and Applications

  • Someone takes your parking spot. Pause. What a pleasure.

  • Someone doesn't invite you to something when you thought you were gonna be invited. Pause. What a pleasure.

  • Someone's gossiping about you. Oh, that's the best.

  • To reveal wealth, one must go through a type of darkness equal to the type of wealth and deal with the embarrassment involved.

  • The pleasure is the opportunity to transform that much darkness into light by acting like the light at that moment.

  • If you get depressed and you shut down and you blame and you go into a corner, you're delaying the process.

  • No one's gonna bail us out.

  • The darkness that exists in the world, everything that we see, politics, economy, whatever we don't like, is a test for us.

  • Everything is a test for us. Even if you turn on the TV and something's bothering you, wow, what a pleasure. What a this is amazing. This is showing me an opportunity to connect my soul to the light of the creator and inching towards all the blessings that are waiting for me.

  • Everything in our lives is designed. It's not random, it's not annoying and it's not personal.

Additional Insights

  • Bringing a gift: Buying flowers for a girlfriend after flirting with the florist.

  • Even small actions of taking light, harmless, a little stealing of light here, stealing of energy there, stealing energy, instant gratification, instant gratification, disconnects from the light of the creator.

  • A major tikkun of people: I feel insecure. I feel I don't I'm not whole. I need something.

  • The goal of learning Kabbalah is to get to that place, I don't need anything. Once you don't need anything, then you're tapped into the light, then you can share.

  • Lots of people in relationships, they over-give thinking they're a giver, but really they're staking, they want energy, they're afraid, they want you to like them.

  • They always go out of their way, but it's coming from the place of I need security from you. It's not coming from the place of I'm with the light, I'm acting like the light, I'm overcoming all my lack and fear.

  • When you feel lack and fear and you wanna text your relationship or text someone, thinking of you; are you giving or taking?

  • A facebook scenario is given.

  • In each scenario given above, there’s probably 30 tests that if she passed all of them, she would have found true fulfillment weeks later, but she’s delaying it with each reactive way of taking energy.

Conclusion

  • Kabbalah Centre is the largest nonprofit organization in the world that disseminates the wisdom of Kabbalah.

  • Kabbalah one is probably the most powerful course taught.

  • The breakthrough happens by class three.

  • Kabbalah brings different spiritualities and modalities into one.

  • It’s universal, it’s for everyone and right away, you start to see the effects of it in your life and it changes you forever.

Someone acting as the Light in this situation would likely respond with patience, understanding, and a focus on long-term connection rather than immediate frustration. Instead of reacting with anger or annoyance, the Light would:

  1. Pause: Take a moment to center oneself and avoid impulsive reactions.

  2. Empathize: Try to understand why your son is acting out or not listening. Is he seeking attention, feeling unheard, or struggling with something?

  3. Communicate calmly: Speak to your son in a calm and gentle tone, avoiding accusatory language. Focus on expressing your feelings and needs without blaming him.

  4. Set clear boundaries: Clearly and kindly communicate your expectations and the consequences of not meeting them.

  5. Seek connection: Find ways to connect with your son on a deeper level, such as spending quality time together or engaging in activities he enjoys.

  6. Find gratitude: Appreciate what kind of traits your son has despite his behavior and find gratitude in them.

By choosing to act with patience and understanding, remember, you're transforming a moment of potential conflict into an opportunity for growth and connection, aligning yourself with the Light of the Creator. Remember the pleasure in the opportunity to act like the light.
