  • How is Islam similar to and different from Judaism and Christianity? Their all a monotheistic faith they all belive in diffrent stuff

  • Explain the caste system. Ranks people on their social class 

  • Explain reincarnation and how reincarnation supports the caste system. Reincarnation is where you die and go into another life. If you have a good life you you can recarnitate and move up the caste system

  • What were Greek and Roman architecture like and what are some examples of them? 

Lots of pillars in both Greece had straight lines and Romans had round

  • Describe the system of Feudalism in Europe during the Middle Ages. Was a dominant social system kings has unlimited power 

  • What was the relationship between lords and peasants on the manor? The lord of a manor was supported by his land holdings and contributions from the peasant population

  • Why was Feudalism so popular during that time period? allowed societies in the Middle Ages to retain a relatively stable structure 

 Crusades and Black Death 

  • Why did Europeans fight in the Crusades? to stop the expansion of Muslim states, to reclaim for Christianity the Holy Land in the Middle East, and to recapture territories that had formerly been Christian

  • What was the impact/result of the Crusades? massive death tolls, shifted power dynamics, and fostered trade and learning

  • What was the Black Death? Where ⅓ of the population died of fleas disease 

  • What was the impact of the Black Death? Reduced the world's population from 450 million to 350 million by the 1400s

 

Japanese Feudalism 

  • What is the social structure of Japan during its Feudal Age and what is the role of the different people in the system? Shogun, daimyo, samurai, ronin.
