More Rules for Priests

1. If any of their kids or descendants go into something holy while unclean, they shall be cut off from the people

2. Whoever is a descendant of Aaron and turns into a leper or some other health issue, they can’t eat anything holy until they are clean

3. Whoever touches the dead, ejaculates, or touches bugs will be unclean until evening

   1. When the sun goes down, he will be clean again and can eat holy food

4. Any animal that dies naturally or killed by other animals is not to be eaten by them

5. No one outside the priest and his family can eat the holy food, not even hired servants

   1. Slaves can though

   2. A priest’s daughter married to an outsider cannot

      1. Unless she is widowed/divorced before she has children, then she can eat it again

6. If someone, who is not supposed to eat it, accidentally eats a holy offering, he is to offer another full offering plus 1/5 more.

7. Offerings from cattle, sheep, and goats cannot have any blemishes or defects

   1. Animal can’t be blind, lame, injured, castrated, have physical deformities, given by a foreigner, etc

      1. One with too long/short limbs is accepted for a freewill offering but not for making vows

8. If a baby animal is to be sacrificed, let it live for 7 days with its mother then do as you will on the 8th

   1. Do not kill the mom and baby on the same day
