As an avid traveler, I would love to share with you about the time I took a 3-day trip to Hoi An ancient town. It is a town situated in Quang Nam, a central part of Vietnam. If my memory serves me right, I went to Hoi An 3 years ago during summer vacation with my group of best friends.
When I first set foot in this place, I was instantly captivated by the beauty of this place. It is such a charming holiday destination with breathtaking views and scenic landscapes. We went off-season so it wasn’t as lively and touristy as usual, but hordes of tourists flock to this place every year to enjoy its beauty.
The city’s architecture is a harmonious blend of Vietnamese, Chinese, and Japanese design, so there are a lot of pagodas, temples, and ancient houses that bear their very unique marks, which really sets this city apart from any other places in Vietnam.

I think younger people tend to enjoy adventure and having fun, so they would choose to go to either some tourist traps where there are a lot of holiday activities, or they could go backpacking somewhere off the beaten track to satisfy their thirst for adventure.
As for older people, they definitely prefer relaxation, so they would just opt for somewhere serene and peaceful to ease their mind, maybe near a lake or go to churches and pagodas, or something like that.
