Participants- individuals who take on the role of senders and receivers during an interaction

Messages- verbal and visual communication used to convey thoughts and feelings

Feedback- consists of the messages sent by receivers to sender, letting them know how the message is being interpreted

Adapting- by adjusting language, balancing delivery styles, offering multiple channels

Offering multiple channels- combining visual aids with verbal explanation

Interference- aka “noise”, any stimulus that interferes with the process of achieving the shared meaning

Pros of memorizing speech- enhanced confidence, smooth delivery, increased engagement

Cons of memorizing speech- rigidity and lack of adaptability, increased anxiety, potential for mind blank

How to effectively memorize- break it down, think in pictures, practice regularly
