Plant Cells

Mitochondria
Mitochondrion are organelles in cells that produce energy for the cell, and are often referred to as the powerhouse of the cell. They make energy by cellular respiration.

Chloroplasts

They are organelles that convert sunlight to chemical energy by photosynthesis, and they are responsible for making glucose.

Vacuole
A vacuole is an organelle that is responsible for storing water, nutrients and maintain water balance.

Endoplasmic Reticulum

A network of membranous tubules within the cytoplasm of a eukaryotic celll, continuous with the nuclear membrane. Normally has ribosomes attached. It is involved in the protein and lipid synthesis

Golgi Apparatus

It is a cell organelle that modifies and packages, sorts proteins and lipids for transport within or to outside of the cell.

Ribosome

A complex molecule that synthesizes proteins in cells

Cell wall

A cell wall is a rigid or flexible layer that surrounds the cell membrane, it is made out of cellulose

Cell membrane

A thin flexible barrier that separates a cell from its outside. Its also responsible for regulating the cells internal environment and interactions between inside the cell and outside.

Nucleus

A membrane-enclosed organ inside a cell which contains chromosomes

Nucleolus

A spherical organelle in the nucleus of a cell that produes ribosomes.
