TFIID (TBP + TAF) Binds to TATA box and creates initial committed complex

Initial committed complex + General transcription factors (TFIIF, TFIIB, TFIIA) recruit RNA Pol. II and form Minimal initiation complex

Minimal initiation complex + TFIIH and TFIIE form Pre-initiation complex; Push RNA Pol I to start transcription process (same as closed complex)

Complete complex assists RNA Pol I to 1+ start position and transcription begins (open complex)
