Notify your teacher if you have any medical problems that might be affected by any lab work, such as allergies or asthma.

When mixing an acid and water, always add the acid to the water
Carry glass tubing, especially long pieces, in a vertical position to prevent breakage and stabbing anyone.
Always wear heavy gloves when inserting a piece of glassware such as tubing or a thermometer, into a stopper. Before inserting lubricate glass with water/glycerin.
Use twisting motion with removing/inserting glassware --Never apply force --- Becomes stuck? Ask teacher
