Color Spectrum: The range of colors that the human eye can see, arranged by increasing wavelength (or decreasing frequency).

Neutrals Colors:

Primary Colors: Basic colors to be mixed and create other colors. It cannot be made out of other colors. (Red, Blue, Yellow)

Secondary Colors: Created by mixing equal amounts of two adjacent primary colors.

Tertiary Colors​: Created by mixing an equal amount of two adjacent primary and secondary colors.

Color Scheme: A combination of colors used in a range of design projects, from fine art to interior design to graphic design

Analogous Color Scheme: Uses colors that are next to each other on the color wheel.

Split Complementary Color Scheme: Uses a base color and the two colors located on either side of its direct complement on the color wheel, creating a harmonious and balanced color palette

Triad Color Scheme: A color palette consisting of three colors that are equally spaced apart on the color wheel
