superior court judges are elected to 4 years terms
state court - midemeanor cases such as traffic violations, search and arrest warrents.
State court judges are elected to 4 year terms
juvenile court - cases handling issues with children under the age of 18
juvenile judges are appointed by superior court judges to 4 year terms
probate court - wills, estates, appointment of guardians
probate judges are elected to 4 year terms
magistrate court - misdemeanors 15,000 or less(no jury)
magistrate judges are elected to 4 year terms
