Animal Cells:

Animal Cells: Made up of tiny units called cells. Each cell contains many organells that keep the cell alive, allow it to reproduce, and carry functions for the animal as a whole.

Cell Membrane: Protective lipid bilayer, regulates who enters and exits

Centriole: Bundles of micortubles (some) organise the movement of chromesomes during cell division.

Cytoplasm: Includes everything, all

Cytoskeliton: Helps the cell move. formed of actin, microtubles, and microfilaments.

Endoplasmic Reticulum: Manufacture, process, and transport chemical compounds used by the cell. Contains ribosomes,

Golgi araptus: Collect and modify chemical compounds, to be used in other parts of the cell of be exported outside the cell.

Lysosome: Small vesiclescontain enzymes and chemicals to help digest materials brought to the cell. Also break down old or nonfunctioning organells. Formed by the Golgi araptus.

Mitochondrion:The “Powerhouse of the cell” that converts nutrients into energy that can be used by the cell. Contains their own DNA (Might have once been an independent bacteria)

Nuclear mebrane: Doubled layer membrane that protects nucleus of the cell. Pores in membrane allow molecules to move in and out of the nucleus.

Nucleous:Inside the nucleus, the organelle contains RNA and syntheses ribosomes.

Nucleus: Contains the DNA and regulates gene expression.

Ribosomes: Sites of protein and synthesis in the cell of theEndoplasmic Reticulum.

Vacuole: A type of vesicle that stores water, salts, carbohydrates, and protiens. Plays a role in removing waste products from the cell.

Vesicle:
