Are usually low on the social gradient and usually to some extent are socially isolated and experience higher stress levelsÂ
AddictionÂ
- The substance they are addicted to already causes problems but other determinants of health suffer.Â
Poorer ppl and those experiencing stress or unemployment are more likely to suffer addiction Â
Transport Â
Geographic location can alter the quality of transport infrastructure available e.g. remote location have bad quality roads or can get cut off by flood or bushfire. Â
Isolation and lack of services Â
CultureÂ
Some cultures have norms that are healthier than others. If ppl follow the cultural rules or expectations they may experience lesser health. Â
