Victimless crimes are characterized by the fact that the people involved in these types of activities are usually willing participants.

These types of crimes involve people who have given consent to participate and engage in such behavior as drug sales/purchasing, prostitution, illegal gambling, public drunkenness, pornography, etc.

According to the video on Victimless Crime, one of the hallmarks of a victimless crime is mere possession. What was the other hallmark? Consensual behavior

Prostitution: offering or engaging in sexual act for hire

Soliciting Prostitution: requesting, asking, enticing another to engage in the crime of prostitution. Also known as Pandering

Promoting Prostitution: Managing, controlling, owning, or otherwise facilitating a business for the purpose of prostitution. This would include providing/procuring prostitutes for others as well as transporting people for the purpose of prostitution.

Pimping: abetting, counseling, aiding, assisting or directing another person in the commission of the act of prostitution or acquiring a prostitute for another person.

Drug: any type of substance that has a psychotropic or physical effect on the human body

Gambling: the betting and/or wagering of something of value (money, etc.) on the occurrence or outcome of an event
