• Turnover: ball possession goes to opposite team

2. Violation: Commiting illegal action

3. Foul:_act commitied by/toward player resulting in turnover_ /single players shoots from free throw line as result of a shooting foul or when a team get more than a certain amount of fouls.

4. Double Dribble: dribbling with two hands/picking ball up then dribbling again

5. Traveling: Moving pivot foot after established or taking more than 2 step while progressing (both result in turnover)

6. Two teams consisting of 5 players(but can be played unofficially with any amount)

7. Any basket scored is worth 2 points

8. Any basket scored outside of  3 point arc is worth 3 points

9. After a foul a free throw is worth 1 point

10. What are the positions in basketball? Gaurd, forward, center

11. man to man: each player is responsible for defending a specific player

12. zone: each player is responsible for defending a specific area

13. chest pass: originates from the chest toward players target (aiming at chest level)

14. bounce pass: pass aimed at the floor toward players target (½ to ¾ of the way to their target)
