- ==dependent variable-== the quantity that changes in response to the independent variable
- ==constants-== quantities in an experiment that are kept the same
- ==control group-== a group that is completely unaltered from normal
- ==experimental group-== group that is altered in a specific way to observe change
* the “specific way” is the changes that are made to the independent variable
