thymosin- binds subunits, prevents assembly

tropomodulin- prevents assembly and disassembly at minus end

cofilin- binds ADP-actin filaments, accelerates disassembly

Gelsolin- severs filaments and binds to plus end

Capping proteins- prevents assembly and disassembly at plus end

Tropomyosin- stabilizes filament, modulates binding of other accessory proteins

Profilin- binds monomers, concentrates them at sites of filament assembly

Arp2/3 complex- nucleates assembly to form a branched network and remains associated with the minus end

actin filament- filament bundling, cross-linking, and attachment to membranes

Capping proteins: Prevents assembly/disassembly in the positive end
Tropomodulin: Prevents assembly/dissasembly in negative end
thymosin: Binds subunits, prevents assembly
gelosin: Severs actin filaments
coflin: binds adp-actin filaments, accelerates disassembly
