Thermoplastics - can be reheated and recycled
Acrylic (PMMA) - comes in various sections, sheets, rods, bars, square and round section. Easily pigmented. e.g coloured lights, jewellery, keyrings, books stands.
Polypropylene PP - Sheets and pellets, safe for food contact, e.g bottle lids, food containers, High resistance to chemical corrosion.
*ABS - Injection moulding plastic! Comes in rolls and pellets. e.g toys, trays, boxes, pen lids, Lego bricks.
PET - Polyester, comes in fabrics, Plastic bottles (blow moulding) can be recycled, not toxic, can be pigmented
Nylon - Polyamide, comes in a bar or sheet, ropes, nyloc
Thermosetting - Heated up and formed once (eg plug sockets)
Cellophane - sheets, food packaging, low permeability (stuff can’t get through it), non-toxic
Epoxy resin - comes in liquid form
Kevlar - comes in sheets, tensile strength to weight ratio,
PTFE - used in saucepans, very high melting temperature, chemical resistance
