Theorem : A statement that has been proven based on previously established statements, such as other theorems, and generally accepted statements, such as axioms.

Congruent Supplements Theorem: If two angles are supplements of the same angle (or congruent angles), then the two angles are congruent.

Angle Bisector Theorem, states that if a point lies on the angle bisector of an angle, then it is equidistant from the sides of the angle.

Parallel Line: Lines in a plane that never meet or intersect, regardless of how far they are extended in either direction.

Alternate Interior Angles: Angles that lie on opposite sides of a transversal and between two parallel lines; they are congruent if the lines are parallel.

Same Side Interior Angles: These are angles that lie on the same side of a transversal and between two parallel lines; they are supplementary.

Alternate Exterior Angles: Angles that lie on opposite sides of a transversal and outside two parallel lines; they are congruent if the lines are parallel.

Corresponding Angles.:Angles that lie on the same side of the transversal and in corresponding positions relative to the parallel lines; they are congruent if the lines are parallel.
