Electric cells and Fruit cells
Electric cells:
Supply energy to electrons for movement in an electric circuit.
Store chemical energy and convert it to electrical energy.
Electrons flow from one material to another provides an electric current.
Different electrodes and electrolytes produce different chemical reactions affecting the battery’s functionality and energy storage capacity.
Fruit cells:
Similar to a regular battery, consisting of copper and zinc nails and lemon juice as the electrolyte.
Electrode connections cause chemical reactions allowing electron flow in the external circuit.
