Sensory Overload

  • Objective: Provide a calming environment for patients experiencing sensory overload.

  • Actions:

    • Offer consistent and predictable stimuli to decrease confusion.

    • Reduce noise levels and draw curtains or blinds if sunlight is overwhelming.

    • Provide earplugs to help minimize auditory distractions.
