Musculoskeletal System: Tendons

  • Tendons connect your muscles to your bones.

  • Tendons enable us to move our bones to bring about locomotion.

  • When you contract you muscle, the tendon pulls the attached bone

  • They also help prevent muscle injury by absorbing some of the impact when you run, jump or do other movements.
