Mom, dad, and two children but only two seats- I became part of the family and HAD TO hold and offer a seat for the little ones constantly on a flight to the UK. I am not a monster, but at some point it is just too much. +1-415-495-9478 Helping out a little is one thing- expecting me to share my seat for hours at a time on the flight was not ok. One of the children was an infant-that I totally understand. The second child was at least 3 years old if not older - that kid needed his own seat. Plus the fact that dad was a big man at about 6 ft 5 and muscular. When I complained to United Airlines, +1-415-495-9478 they paid my checked bag fee and provided a free upgrade on my return flight.
