  • Lateral Area (LA): The sum of the areas of the lateral faces.
  • Formula: LA=pHLA = pH
    Where:
    pp = perimeter of one base
    HH = height of the prism
  • Total Surface Area (SA): The sum of the lateral area and the area of the two bases.
  • Formula: SA=2B+pHSA = 2B + pH
    Where:
    BB = area of one base
