Mystery Box of Fun

Activity 1: Mystery Box Reveal

An engaging and humorous activity where participants reveal insights about themselves through surprising and amusing objects they bring to the meeting.

Materials:
A large box or bag to serve as the 'Mystery Box'

Steps:

• 1. (5 min) Ask each participant to bring one whimsical or funny item from home that reflects something about their personality or interests. They should keep it hidden until their turn.

• 2. (1 min) Gather everyone in a circle and introduce the activity: "Today, we’re diving into the Mystery Box, where each item will help us unravel the mysteries of who we are!"

• 3. (10 min) Each participant takes a turn presenting their item. They must explain: a. What it is b. Why they chose it c. An amusing or interesting story related to it. Encourage humor and light-heartedness!

• 4. (5 min) After all items have been revealed, open the floor for a group discussion where participants can ask questions or share similar experiences related to the items. For added humor, suggest participants relate their stories to popular movie clichés or over-the-top themes.

Objectives:
To foster deeper personal connections among participants, encourage humor in sharing personal stories, and build a supportive and friendly environment.
