Wave Ray Reflection Principles
Wave Ray Reflection
- Wave rays determine reflected wavefront movement, similar to light rays.
- Normal: Line perpendicular to the barrier, at the point of incidence.
- Angle of Incidence (θi): Angle between the normal and the incident wave ray.
- Angle of Reflection (θr): Angle between the normal and the reflected wave ray.
- Angle values for wave rays are numerically the same as for wavefronts but measured from the normal.
- Law of Reflection: Angle of incidence equals angle of reflection (θi=θr).
