What is going on is this quote? Who is speaking and who is being spoken to? What is God promising to humanity? What does this show to us about God’s relationship with humanity?

What does it mean to practice biblical exegesis? What tools can we use to understand scripture? Answer this question using tools discussed in class. In your answer include and explain one or both key concepts: STEPS OF BIBLICAL EXEGESIS and SCRIPTURAL SENSES

Salvation History is the pattern of specific events in human history in which God clearly reveals his presence and saving action. Describe TWO EVENTS that we studied where God revealed himself and his saving action. How did each event impact the relationship between God and humanity? What ways did God’s revelation and action bring humanity closer to Himself and teach humanity of His love?

In Genesis 1-3, we read about the stories of creation and the fall of humanity. What are some of the points the story is trying to make about creation, humanity and our intended relationship with God and our fellow humans. Be sure to include specific “original” terms that we learned about in class and what they mean.

In her life, Mother Clelia faced numerous trials and difficulties, during which time she prayed the above prayer. What virtues does it show in her life? How does it show her trust in God? Use examples from her life (think of losses that she experienced in her life). Can you relate to moments in your life when such a prayer would be helpful?
