USING OBJECT & INDIRECT OBJECT PRONOUNS W/ COMMANDS
first, object pronouns:
[ lo, los, la, las ]
they’re directly attatched to the command!
Buy the food: = Compre la comida.
Buy it. = Cómprela (don’t forget to add the accent mark on the 3rd syllable!)
Ex 2: Bring the papers = Traiga los papeles.
Bring them. = Tráigalos.
Now.. you may ask.. what do you do with indirect objects too??
Add them but the indirect object comes before the direct object!
+ indirect objects
me | nos
te | os
le | les
Buy them for me = cómpremelos (don’t forget to add the accent!)
Bring it to her = tráigaselo. (we use se instead of le, because we can’t do le & lo in the same command)
le lo = se lo
le la = se la
le los = se los
le las = se las
les lo = se lo
les la = se la
les los = se los
les las = se las
NOW! negativos:
this time!…the object pronouns come before the command
for example:
Don’t buy it for me = No me lo compre.
Don’t close it = No lo cierre.
