Overview of the Personal Auto Policy (PAP)
The PAP is an auto insurance contract for individuals and families owning private passenger vehicles.
It provides several types of coverage:
Liability Coverage
: Pays for injuries and damages caused by the insured.
Physical Damage Coverage
: Covers damage to the insured’s vehicle.
Medical Payments Coverage
: Pays for medical costs of the insured and passengers.
Uninsured/Underinsured Motorist Coverage
: Protects against drivers without adequate insurance.
Structure of the Personal Auto Policy (PAP)
