Definition of species: A species is a group of living organisms that share the three common criteria. The three criteria is 1.they have to look alike, 2. they must be able to reproduce together, and 3. their offspring must be fertile.

What is binomial nomenclature?

Definition of binomial nomenclature: it is used to name a species using 2 latin words that are always written in italics. The first word of the nomenclature is always the genus to where the living organism belongs. The second word of the nomenclature is the word that specifies the species.
