3: necessary as u can be saved and baptism = forgiveness of sins → unites us w/ Christ. encourage baptism of young children and of adults

4: sacrament of reconciliation → confess sins to God. rejoices at the return of the sinner just as the father in story of the lost son. receive sacrament to live in a good relationship w/ God
