Chapter 1: Hey Hey Hey

  • Confrontation at a gravesite; one person sleeping there despite warnings
  • The sleeper mourns a deceased woman he calls “the love of my life,” using emotive metaphors (sun, moon, dawn, etc.)
  • Cemetery worker/friend insists he leave: a funeral will take place and he must “get on with his life”

Chapter 2: A Good Day

  • Brief farewell scene: “Have a good day, my love. Let’s see you tonight.”
  • Tone shifts to affectionate normalcy, contrasting Chapter 1’s grief
