Electoral College
^^270^^ notes are needed to win the electoral college. The amount of votes a state has is based on the number of senators plus the amount of representatives a state has. The minimum amount of votes a state can have is three (one representative + two senators).
- Maine and Nebraska use a , where the ^^proportion^^ of the votes determines the ^^amount of electors per party^^. (EG 75% democrat: 25% republican means 3 electoral college votes for democrats and 1 electoral college vote for republicans).
The electors are people ^^chosen by their parties^^ and they gather at the ^^capital^^.
