One way that belief in Tawhid influences Muslims today is through the recital of the Shahadah. In the Shahadah, Muslims state that they believe in one God only, as this practice is done multiple times a day, it reinforces the importance of Tawhid to believers.
Another way belief in Tawhid influence Muslims today is through the sin of shirk. The sin of shirk happens when you compare someone else to having the same amount of power as Allah, this is an unforgivable sin, so Tawhid is very important to Muslims as they do not want to commit Shirk.
Explain two of the six articles of faith (6 marks)
The belief in predestination is one of the six articles of faith for Sunni Muslims. Predestination is the belief that Allah has already determined everything that will ever happen, and he knows what will happen. Muslims believe that Allah is all powerful and has control over all of the universe. In the Qur’an it says, ‘Nothing will happen unless Allah wills it’, this shows his omnipotence and divine powers to control the universe
Another belief in the six articles of faith is belief in angels as messengers for Allah. Angels record the deeds of all humans for Allah, to be used on the Day of Judgement and communicate this information with Allah.

Another Muslim belief about Tawhid is the sin of Shirk. This is when partners are associated with Allah or when images of Allah are created as they make an image of him. It is an unforgivable sin if not repented.

Angels more important - provide encouragement to be good as they will record in the book of deeds to be used on the DoJ
Conclusion:
