Computer hardware encompasses all the electrical machinery and components of a computer.
Hardware refers to any part of the computer that is tangible, meaning it can be seen or touched.
Examples of hardware include:

- Printer
- Laptop

Software is responsible for integrating, manipulating, and controlling the computer hardware within the computer system.
Software is divided into two main categories:
- Application software
- System software
Although they are distinct types of software, they function together on a computer.
Application software is designed to perform specific tasks for the end user by directly interacting with them.
