The people of TSU neighborhood find his letter to his mom as a great amusement that he kept on writing for twenty years and havent received any from his mom
TSU doesnt mind it and knows that none of them understand him
But one person does and its Winyu
Winyu said that the letters are a good outlet of his feelings esp abt those things our generation doesnt understand very well
Winyu also says that he knows that Chinese takes their responsibilities towards their parents srsly and thats why he understand TSU writing despite not getting a reply
As for Thais, the children dunt rlly show their feelings in the same way, the thais let their sons depend on them different from farang and chinese
TSU then ask him if he thinks them chinese are too hard on their children which Winyu says he dun think so, he believe that its best if children learn to be independent because their parents are not going to be with them forever.
TSU says Winyu doesnt sound like the typical thai and diff from them
TSU and Winyu is getting along well (MC left the room on purpose for them to bond)
Winyu then said to TSU that the things TSU believes about Thai men are unfair as how Thai sees that all Chinese is greedy
Winyu says that “the peaceful thai” is not so peaceful and have been invaded by progress and that his generation is different from his parents generation as they are preparing for the world as it is
Winyu says that he dun wanna get along with TSU with the cost of disrespect for himself and for the sake of MC
TSU was like yeah boy leave my daughter alone and i didnt even beg for u to get along with me
Winyu says that he believes they will come to respect each other
TSU says that Winyu doesnt even like Chinese
Winyu says he likes everyone, he also like TSU but doesnt like his attitude towards the Winyu society
Winyu says that he will tell TSU a few things abt himself even if TSU will disapprove of becz he feels it isnt right for a man stranger to their daughter’s father
Winyu cares alot abt work and he wants Thai to prgress slower and he also wants peace
He tells his students to have moral principles of those Farang and the dilegence of the Chinese and the heart of Thai
“The heart of Thai” means the love of peace, contentment with little concern for others and a sense of moderation
He says the new Thai generation is too aggressive
TSU agree and says that the new generation is rude and disrespectful but Winyu said thats minor problem
TSU admitted that Winyu was not like other thai nor chinese nor Farang, he was smart polite but argumentative
Winyu told TSU that the chinese are slowly being absorb into the societues they have entered
TSU says children nowaday has a need to insult their parent
Winyu said its not insult rather they want respect as a human being
they talk abut more
When Winyu left, TSU ask MC if she gonna marry and if she thinks she can be happy with Winyu which she said yes because she believe both of them had more intellectual intelligent more than emotional
She says that its better to love each other rather than to hate each other like in America
and if the marriage is not good she’ll leave which TSU didnt like that
He left her and went to talk to AB
AB said its good that MC is going to marry Winyu
TSU still doesnt want her to marry to thai, he wants her to marry a chinese
AB thinks he is being very foolish wanting to control who his daughter want to marry and what to do for her marriage
TSU said if she marries Winyu, he will give them nth
AB kinda mad and upset and left (also mayb she gonna guve it to them because she say Meng Chu is likely her auntie is still around)
TSU felt humiliated and lonely
