  • The lecture transitions from planning to execution, but first, reviews the processes covered so far.
  • All 24 processes in the process table have been covered.

Project Management Plan

  • Completing all mentioned planning processes results in the Project Management Plan.
  • This plan is a large document with 18 components, including various management plans and baselines.

Purpose of Management Plans and Baselines

  • Management plans define how to execute, monitor and control, and close the project.
  • Baselines define the scope, schedule, and cost.

Transition to Execution

  • With the management plans and baselines in place, the project moves into the execution phase.

Execution and Monitoring & Controlling

  • Execution is done in tandem with monitoring and controlling.
    • Monitoring and controlling oversees the execution of the project.
    • Monitoring and controlling oversees the project plan.

Course Structure
