Picture Description Vocabulary (Bildbeschreibung)

  • General Image Expressions

    • en esta foto — German translation: auf diesem Bild (In this picture)
    • la foto muestra — German translation: das Foto zeigt (The photo shows)
    • en la foto vemos/se ve — German translation: auf dem Bild sehen wir/ sieht man (In the picture we see / one sees)

  • Spatial Positioning and Orientation

    • en el centro — German translation: in der Mitte (In the middle/center)
    • a la derecha — German translation: rechts (To the right)
    • a la izquierda — German translation: links (To the left)
    • al fondo — German translation: im Hintergrund (In the background)
